Compare/Contrast My hometown, Jombang is very different from the city where I studied now, Surabaya. Jombang existing air are fresher than existing air in Surabaya. Maybe because Jombang is just a small town and there are not many vehicles. Standart of living in Surabaya is also higher than in Jombang, but the price food in Surabaya is also almost the same like in Jombang. The weather in Surabaya also not stabilized, unlike in Jombang. In Jombang we can still look rice field are everywhere, while in Surabaya almost nothing rice fields anymore. But in Surabaya are many tall buildings and shopping malls ubiquitous. Although more differences, but there is one common thing that I like, the friendly people in my neighborhood, both in Jombang and in Surabaya. COMPARE-CONTRAST My hometown and my college town have several things in common. First, my hometown, Malang, is a big town. Located in a middle Jawa Timur, Malang has some beach. Malang also has a college campus which is famous like Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Malang, and Universitas Machung. As for my college town, Surabaya is metropolitan city. Like Malang, Surabaya has some beach like Kenjeran beach. Finally, Surabaya is similar to Malang for the education. Surabaya is most wellknown of education center for student in Jawa timur. Because it has many colleges that well known like ITS, UNAIR, Ciputra, and many more.

My hometown and my college town have several things in common. First, my hometown, Gridlock, is a small town. It has a population of only about 10,000 people. Located in a rural area, Gridlock is surrounded by many acres of farmland which are devoted mainly to growing corn and soybeans. Gridlock also contains a college campus, Neutron College, which is famous for its Agricultural Economics program as well as for its annual Corn-Watching Festival. As for my college town, Subnormal, it too is small, having a population of about 11,000 local residents, which swells to 15,000 people when students from the nearby college are attending classes. Like Gridlock, Subnormal lies in the center of farmland which is used to raise hogs and cattle. Finally, Subnormal is similar to Gridlock in that it also boasts a beautiful college campus, called Quark College. This college is well known for its Agricultural Engineering department and also for its yearly Hog-Calling Contest.

The Student Center’s here to provide services and entertainment for the student body. The third is the Administration Complex. My hometown is Surabaya. I was born at this city and i love it so much. Eventhough almost all of my friends that come from another city often troubled by its unusual weather. Compared with their hometown which have a cool and relaxing weather. On the other hand, Surabaya’s weather will be very hot at the afternoon, and really cold at night. It would be totally troublesome if you also trapped on a traffic jam during the busy hours. My friends said that their city don’t have any serious problem with the traffic, although Surabaya is much better if compared with Jakarta. But we can find a lot of cozy department store here, heritage places, city gardens, and historical statues. It is true that not every city in Indonesia have them.

Everybody knows that Ade Rai is the one of the most muscular man in the Indonesia, even in the world. His muscular body is not come overnight. He gains his muscle and sixpack ABS because of his continous training and iron will. Ade Rai eat 18 eggs a day, so he can get appropiate amount of protein to maintain his muscle. He also do weight exercise everyday, because one day without training is like eat rice without any salt and flavour for Ade Rai. His determination bring him to the top level of “Gym Class Heroes”, but actually he is not a body builder at first. He was a badminton athlete at his campus. The campus activities made him not had much time to do badminton exercise. Finally, he decided to try body building at nearest gym from his campus. He choosed body building because it doesn’t take much time to do it and it’s more flexible than badminton. His great body building progress, encouraged him to focus at body building. Hollywood’s movie is identical with the development of technology. Eating is an activity that we as humans do at least two times a day. We live in a world where the variety of food is immense, and we are responsible for what we eat. We decide what we are about to eat and how it will affect our bodies. The purpose of this essay is to compare and contrast the differences between eating fresh foods instead of canned foods. The three main differences are flavor, health benefits, and cost. The most notable difference between these two kinds of foods is their flavor. Fresh foods have great flavor and taste because they keep all their natural conditions. Canned foods however, lack a lot of its flavor characteristics because there are some other chemical products added to the natural foods. It is logical that the fresh foods will have a greater taste and flavor when consumed just because of the time in which they have been prepared. Comparing both types of foods we notice another difference. There is a health factor that affects both of them. Canned foods lose some of the original fresh food nutrients when stored, and also it has to be tinned with many conservatives and chemical factors that prolong the shelf life and apparent freshness of the food but could also become toxic if consumed too often. Yet another difference between these two types of foods is the cost. Canned foods are much more expensive than fresh foods. Ingredients :
1 liter of water
4 ounce spaghetti
2 spoon olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt
For the sauce :
2 spoon of oil
2 spring red onions
2 spring onions
2 ounce of meat
150 ml water
3 spoon cornstarch
100 gr of ketchup
2 tomatoes
1 spoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon pepper
100 gr cheese
Steps :
First, boil spaghetti for 20 minutes. Add olive oil and salt, then take it.
Second, fry onion and red onion until they smell good.
Then add meat, fry until it’s color become brown.
Put soy sauce, pepper and ketchup and cornstarch (cornstarch has been dissolved into water).
After that, cook it until thick and stir it.
Finally, serve it in a plate with a sprinkle with grated cheese.

My hometown and my college town have several things in common. First, my hometown, Gridlock, is a small town. It has a population of only about 10,000 people. Located in a rural area, Gridlock is surrounded by many acres of farmland which are devoted mainly to growing corn and soybeans. Gridlock also contains a college campus, Neutron College, which is famous for its Agricultural Economics program as well as for its annual Corn-Watching Festival. As for my college town, Subnormal, it too is small, having a population of about 11,000 local residents, which swells to 15,000 people when students from the nearby college are attending classes. Like Gridlock, Subnormal lies in the center of farmland which is used to raise hogs and cattle. Finally, Subnormal is similar to Gridlock in that it also boasts a beautiful college campus, called Quark College. This college is well known for its Agricultural Engineering department and also for its yearly Hog-Calling Contest.

Unemployment is a person who doesn’t have any jobs. Unemployment exists because there is not enough jobs for accommodating them. As a result, the unemployed person doesn’t work and can’t support their family’s life. Unemployment is one of big problems in almost every country, including big countries like USA. in fact, having many unemployment can harm the country itself because they can decrease the country’s income. My hometown is Surabaya. I was born at this city and i love it so much. Eventhough almost all of my friends that come from another city often troubled by its unusual weather. Compared with their hometown which have a cool and relaxing weather. On the other hand, Surabaya’s weather will be very hot at the afternoon, and really cold at night. It would be totally troublesome if you also trapped on a traffic jam during the busy hours. My friends said that their city don’t have any serious problem with the traffic, although Surabaya is much better if compared with Jakarta. But we can find a lot of cozy department store here, heritage places, city gardens, and historical statues. It is true that not every city in Indonesia have them.

Everybody knows that Ade Rai is the one of the most muscular man in the Indonesia, even in the world. His muscular body is not come overnight. He gains his muscle and sixpack ABS because of his continous training and iron will. Ade Rai eat 18 eggs a day, so he can get appropiate amount of protein to maintain his muscle. He also do weight exercise everyday, because one day without training is like eat rice without any salt and flavour for Ade Rai.
His determination bring him to the top level of “Gym Class Heroes”, but actually he is not a body builder at first. He was a badminton athlete at his campus. The campus activities made him not had much time to do badminton exercise. Finally, he decided to try body building at nearest gym from his campus. He choosed body building because it doesn’t take much time to do it and it’s more flexible than badminton. His great body building progress, encouraged him to focus at body building. His choice was right and brought him to International Body Building champion.

Hollywood Vs Bollywood
As the biggest center of movie industry, Hollywood and Bollywood has some similarities. Both of them always produce the greatest movies for years and it explodes on the market. A lot of people think that Bollywood’s production not as well as Hollywood, but actually they have same quality. For example is Leonardo DiCaprio as its great actor. No one doubt with his acting in every movie such as “Romeo & Juliet”, “Titanic” and “Inception” in 2010. In the same way, Bollywood has the best actor too, such as Shahrukh Khan. He starred Kuch-Kuch Hota Hai in 1998 and it became successful by winning many awards in abroad. The story between Hollywood and Bollywood has an appeal to make the viewers amazed, not only because the good story inside the movie but also the best actors and actress to make the story more life. So, the movies become unforgettable and memorable.
However, there are some differences that make each of them, Bollywood and Hollywood have some typical. First, it comes from theme of their movie. Hollywood’s movie is identical with the development of technology. It’s almost telling us about future, robot, superhero, etc. Meanwhile, Bollywood’s movie takes theme from our daily life plus the problem inside it. The examples are problems with family, friends and boyfriend or girlfriend. Those are simple problem, but it could be packed becomes so dramatic. Second, Bollywood always performs dancing and singing in every movie. So, it looks like a musical drama. On other hand, Hollywood just displays acting and dialogue, although there are some of musical dramas in Hollywood’s verse, but it can’t match Bollywood’s production. Then the last is about production costs. Hollywood spends higher costs than Bollywood. Why? Because Hollywood uses many effects in its movie. Such as action or superhero that displays dangerous scene. Unlike Bollywood, the movie is simple but can make many viewers fall their tears for every scene displayed.

Beginning in 1957 when PII of East Java held the first Anniversary, raised the idea of establishing Engineering College Foundation as a result Dr. Angka Nitisastro with engineers of East Java branch PII decided to make Engineering College Foundation. On August 17, 1957, officially stands Engineering College Foundation (YPTT) chaired by Dr. Angka Nitisastro. That Foundation was established as a place to think about further actions and deeply discuss the consequences associated to make a College of Engineering at Surabaya.
With hard work and efforts on November 10, 1957, the Foundation established the " 10 November College of Engineering Surabaya" where founding President of the Republic of Indonesia inaugurated by Ir. Sukarno. Engineering college 10 November Surabaya has only two majors at the time, namely: Department of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Department. After a lapse of several years through the efforts initiated by the figures of YPPT, November 10 engineering colleges Surabaya, , change the status of University Affairs under the name: “Ten November Institute of Technology Surabaya ".
in subsequent developments, in the year 1995 by the Ministerial Decree No. 72, 1965, Ten November Institute of Technology Surabaya (ITS) opened two new faculty, the Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Natural Sciences. In 1972, Civil Engineering Fakulatas Move to Jln. Manyar 8, so ITS increasingly dispersed. Then in late 1975, the Faculty of Architecture techniques to move to a new campus on Jl. 12A Cokroaminoto Surabaya.
Finally, since 1991, the number of faculty in November Ten Surabaya Institute of Technology there are 4 (four), namely: Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI), Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP), Faculty of Marine Technology. In 1994, again ITS obtain ADB loan of U.S. $ 47 million for the development of all faculty with a focus of Marine Technology. This program was completed in April 2000.

BalasHapusEating is an activity that we as humans do at least two times a day. We live in a world where the variety of food is immense, and we are responsible for what we eat. We decide what we are about to eat and how it will affect our bodies. The purpose of this essay is to compare and contrast the differences between eating fresh foods instead of canned foods. The three main differences are flavor, health benefits, and cost.
The most notable difference between these two kinds of foods is their flavor. Fresh foods have great flavor and taste because they keep all their natural conditions. Canned foods however, lack a lot of its flavor characteristics because there are some other chemical products added to the natural foods. It is logical that the fresh foods will have a greater taste and flavor when consumed just because of the time in which they have been prepared.
Comparing both types of foods we notice another difference. There is a health factor that affects both of them. Canned foods lose some of the original fresh food nutrients when stored, and also it has to be tinned with many conservatives and chemical factors that prolong the shelf life and apparent freshness of the food but could also become toxic if consumed too often.
Yet another difference between these two types of foods is the cost. Canned foods are much more expensive than fresh foods. Here the benefit of buying tinned foods is that they are easier to find, for example, in a supermarket instead of the market like the fresh foods, and they require less work to prepare than fresh foods, just open and serve.
Here are the main three differences between buying fresh foods and buying canned foods. As we can see it comes down to a personal choice, based on the time each person has, the money and the importance he/she gives to his/her nutrition and health. Therefore it is important that you consider your possibilities and choose the best type of foods for your convenience and lifestyle

In recent decades, cities have grown so large that now about 50% of the Earth's population lives in urban areas. There are several reasons for this occurrence. First, the increasing industrialization of the nineteenth century resulted in the creation of many factory jobs, which tended to be located in cities. These jobs, with their promise of a better material life, attracted many people from rural areas. Second, there were many schools established to educate the children of the new factory laborers. The promise of a better education persuaded many families to leave farming communities and move to the cities. Finally, as the cities grew, people established places of leisure, entertainment, and culture, such as sports stadiums, theaters, and museums. For many people, these facilities made city life appear more interesting than life on the farm, and therefore drew them away from rural communities.

There are many choices of food to eat, but in our country two of the most common are American fast food and Turkish fast food. American and Turkish fast foods are both similar in that they are convenient. To begin with, both are inexpensive. These foods, which will easily fill your stomach, can be bought for the same price as a bowl of soup. In addition, as indicated in the name, both are very ‘fast’. With busy work and social schedules, many people need to eat quickly and often whilst walking, using public transport or driving. Therefore, not only American but also Turkish fast foods are conveniently quick and easy to eat.
